I recently acquired a virus even though my McAfee is on and updated daily along with my spyware and a firewall. I tried to remove the virus from safe mode to no avail. I am running
Windows XP on a Dell and when I rebooted my system a log in screen appeared. Unfortunately I do not remember my password for this
computer as I haven't had to use it in 5 or so years. My problem now is how can I bypass the password if possible and how do I restore my system to an earlier date if I cannot get past the password? I know that this can be done by using the F keys but I do not remember exactly how it works. Any and all suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks!
