well, some kind of virus got into my system and deleted some rather importaint windows' registery items. In effect, Iv been battling system errors, spam, viruses and no program works properly. I want to try and re-install windows to fix this, and i...

well, some kind of virus got into my system and deleted some rather importaint windows' registery items. In effect, Iv been battling system errors, spam, viruses and no program works properly. I want to try and re-install windows to fix this, and i have some questions...
1st. Is it possible to re-install windows without the system disk?
2nd. will i lose files on C:/ drive??
