I have tried 3 different anti-virus programs and all 3 worked fine for a day or two. Then I start getting those windows that pop up that say
filename.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. This has happened on all 3 programs. (I had only one program installed at a time)
Is the problem in my windows xp?
I have tried deleting the anti-virus program and not having one at all. I do not get the error window.
I have reformatted and reinstalled windows xp home edition (currently with sp2, have not installed sp3 yet. It seems when I install sp3 I start getting all kinds of programs not working correctly or encountering a problem and having to close.
CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY)
I did not have any problem with my pc (emachines D3024, had since 2005) until I updated to Windows XP SP3 in the fall of last year.
Does anyone know what is going on?
