One day I was playing a low-tech computer game, and the image on the screen suddenly started jumping from very small dimensions to very large ones. I don't know what I did to make it start, and I don't know what I did to make it stop. I expected that after a couple of days it would just go back to normal like my PC often does.
But it didn't. The desktop is so huge that I have to press the pointer against the edge of the screen in order to see the edges (like where the icons are located). And I can't just press and hold. I've gotta get some wrist action going there in order to press the pointer against the edge of the viewable area again and again.
Browsing is the internet is difficult. Editing documents and images is frustrating. Watching DVDs is impossible.
I like to think I know my way around a PC, but nothing that I know has prepared me for this.
