2or 3 weeks ago i uninstalled some programs and XP crashed Big time.dill. files went walk about. Tryed all the normal stuff .Was ntoskrnl.dll. i think .MY DOS skills are as bad *** my spelling.I tryed a live version of Ubuntu linux and searched my computer,found the file and dumped into system32 file.got it goin for a wile.A couple of days ago I uninstalled a lexmark printer to try to reinstall it . did the same thing , but hal.dll. went missing, tryed the same thing with the Umbuntu fix , found hal and put it in the system 32 .Now have windows bet cant log in log's back out as soon as i log in . but tells me to activate windows. but cant find internet. ???enough for a start OK
