Hi.

I was recently helped by someone in the Malware forums deleting viruses. I have tried over and over updating Java, Windows Update through IE and even installing Kaspersky and I keep getting this error

WINDOWS INSTALLER ERROR
The Windows installer service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running windows in safe mode, or if the windows installer is not correctly installed.

Note* I have not been running this under safe mode.

I'm not sure what the problem could be, can anyone help? or have any ideas? I know i need these programs running to prevent any further viruses/malware getting into my computer.
