In trying to minimize disc usage on my hard drive, I moved about a dozen or more programs to my external hard drive. When moving them back to my "C" drive, I cant get ANY of them to open and run. What in the devil did I do wrong? When...

In trying to minimize disc usage on my hard drive, I moved about a dozen or more programs to my external hard drive.
When moving them back to my "C" drive, I cant get ANY of them to open and run.
What in the devil did I do wrong?
When you do what I did, do you leave some sort of an installer tool behind?
Man, I hate to loose all of these programs. Any help out there?
