Often as of late, my system hangs when on the Internet (using Firefox 2.0.0.20). When I CTRL-ALT-DEL, it indicated that Firefox.exe is usually running at 80-98% CPU usage.
My system is using Windows XP Home as an OS and it has a 1.6 GHz Pentium 4 processor with 768 MB RAM.
In doing some looking online, I found a site that suggested installing FlashBlock and disabling Java. I need these to play in some online game rooms, so I was hesitant to try this. Will doing these procedures affect gaming? Any other suggestions?
