I am getting C000021a Fatal System Error 0xC0000005 (0x00000000 0x00000000) on another XP Home computer I have. I have read many posts on the web regarding this and the solutions proposed all require the computer to complete the startup process, get to the cmd line or get into safe mode. This computer cannot start up in safe mode (I get to the window to select the different safe mode options and when I try each one, the computer always gets stuck and displays the fatal system error message), I cannot get to a cmd line and when I insert the disk that Dell provided it makes the startup run a little further but still crashes with the fatal system error.
not ready to bring this to the shop yet until I try and get some help from people much smarter than me on this subject.
any suggestions/help to offer for a pc that cannot even start up in safe mode?
