This OS was working fine on this PC up until the HD failure. The only changes made was the new HD install.
My PC has a Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H MB with an AMD Athlon 64X2 6400+ CPU, 2 x 1GB DDR2 RAM DIMMS and 1 x HD installed.
I've checked all the MB cable connections, re-seated (& swapped over) the RAM DIMMS but the problem remains. This is getting frustrating to say the least!
Can anyone tell me what those Hex codes mean? That's all the clues given.
