Here is my issue:
I downgraded a friends laptop from Vista to XP (he sent it to me; i live in Tampa and he is in Southeast Missouri)
he is computer illiterate, so i am setting up his laptop so that I can use Teamviewer on it to connect to it remotely and fix it should he have problems in the future...
Teamviewer has a remote reboot feature that will restart Teamviwer AFTER a reboot if one is necessary for repairs/fixes, so that I may regain control of the laptop after the reboot.
so, i had to disable the user log-on screen because teamviewer would not start until after i clicked his user name (remember i was able to click it because the laptop is next to me as i connect to it with MY laptop)
the accounts currently on the laptop now in XP are:
Administrator Administrator
ASPNET User
Guest Guests
Nathan Administrator
(of course, Nathan is my friends name)
so, i disbabled username/pass log-on, but now when it loads, it goes to a generic administrator log-on account, NOT my friends account...
some of the programs are not installed on the admin account, but they ARE installed on the admin account i created for my friend...
SO...how do I make XP boot to HIS (Nathan) account (which is an admin account) EVERYTIME i boot XP so that if/when I need to fix it, i go into his account automatically w/o a logon screen?
this is also for him as well, because everytime he turns on the laptop in the future, it will go to the generic admin account, not his actual account with all the programs, etc. that I installed on it...that way he wont have to switch from the generic admin account to the Nathan account...
i know this is a wordy post, but I just wanted to be as clear as I can!
thanks in advance!
