What can I do to restrict user access to data? I've just come back to Microsoft Access after a lengthy vacation and wonder how folks deal without User Level Security in Access 2007 .ACCDB databases. It's not hard to find that by holding down the space key when launching Access the locked down menus and tool bars can be restored. It seems to me that Microsoft has given up on limiting access to data, but; I write to you hoping that I've overlooked something.

But doesn't that mean that anyone knowing the password and can get into the database can create, read, update and delete any data? Do you want your eye candy receptionist (mine's a boy) to have the same access as your CFO?
