The Adobe® AIR 1.1 for Linux beta is a version of the Adobe AIR runtime that allows Adobe AIR applications to be deployed on computers and devices running supported versions of the Linux operating system. Adobe AIR for Macintosh and Windows is available from Adobe.com.
This is a nearly feature complete version of Adobe AIR 1.1 for Linux. See the release notes for more information regarding this beta runtime. Please help us ensure that the final release of Adobe AIR for Linux will be of the highest quality by installing and using this beta version and sending Adobe Team your feedback on the forums.

Please uninstall previous installations of AIR before proceeding. For additional information on how to install AIR, please see the release notes. Installation on 64-bit distributions is not supported in this release.

In some distributions of Linux, you can also adjust permission settings by right mouse clicking on a file and selecting the "Properties" menu item. For example, in Ubuntu, right click on a file, select "Properties", click the "Permissions" tab, check "Allow executing file as program", click "close" and double click on the file to execute it.
Sample Applications

Here are a few locations to visit where you can find AIR applications:
Important: The install badge feature is currently not working in the Linux beta. This will be fixed in a subsequent version.
