Hello everybody,
Salam aleikum, first of all i'd like to congratulate everyone who works for this very nice forum that gives a good way for communication to all those related to Egypt, and not only.
You might find that my name Romilos (because it's my real name) is not Egyptian but the truth is that i come from an Egyptian father (my surname is El Masri) and a Greek mother who was born and raised and studied in Egypt(she speaks Arabic even better than my father).
I too was born in Heliopolis Cairo but my family ties are in both Cairo and Mansoura (actually i'm working now on a project developing the website of the Greek-Egyptians community of Mansoura which still exists in Greece

One thing is for sure that he who has drunk from the water of the Nile never forgets and never stops loving Egypt.
And because i'm a lover of history and archaeology (stadying both of them for years) I never stop saying proudly to everyone who asks me where do i come from, that i come from the 2 Greater Civilisations (which i strongly insist always that in the past was 1 joined together, and i hope that this will come again in the future) Egyptian & Greek, that gave everything to the whole mankind.
Everything started and came from our region and then was given from our uncesters to the rest of the world.
Anyway enough with the bragging, i hope you will not get bored from what i wrote and that we will be talking through the forum from now on.
